Is there a way to make bottled nail polish stay fresh longer?
After a while my nail polish starts to get thick, and eventually hard, and I end up trowing them away. Is there anyway to make them keep longer? Is there a way to make bottled nail polish stay fresh longer?
Put it in the fridge! It sounds mad, but it keeps it fresh. Therefore stopping it going gloopy, and thick and hard like yours have done.
I don't really know why it works, it just does. So the next time you buy a nail polish, after you have used it put it in the fridge(it dosn't really matter before you've used it) and keep it there. Should keep it all nice!Is there a way to make bottled nail polish stay fresh longer?
adda a little polish remover to it if it starts getting thick. it works!
Yes, when it starts to get gummy you can add a few drops (very few start with two or three then add it if you need it) of pure acitone, if you dont have pure acitone then you can use a few drops of nail polish remover it will do the same thing! After a while you will want to replace it anyway, but if you are like me with a bunch of different colors they dont get used much before they are trash. This will extend the life much much longer and you can do this two or three times before you have to replace it! Good Luck!
store it in the refridgerater
Buy quality nail polishes (OPI, Essi, etc.)
put a little of nail polish remover in it.
Add a few drops of pure acetone and shake it up periodically. Works Wonders!

Will nail polish remover damage my paint?
i got a krazy glue spot on my car, a few people have suggest nail polish remover. I don't want anything thats going to damage my car's paint job. Other suggestions have been goo gone, bug and tar remover, mothers clay bar, nail polish remover, and soap and water. What do you think will work? Will nail polish remover damage my paint?
I wouldn't use nail polish remover. I would try some WD-40 spray, if that don't work I would go to a automotive store and ask for their advise. Good luck!=)Will nail polish remover damage my paint?
can not add much more than cliff, but i would go to a good body shop they will know more than auto store
Do NOT use it. It will cause the paint to crack and buckle and then larger pieces of paint will start to peel off. Do NOT use nail products on your car paint. An auto supply store will have what you are looking for and not for much money.
If I had gotten glue on my car I would use a razor blade and lightly shave off most of it..then use a little wet/dry 400 %26amp; 600 grit sand paper...then buff with compound. Now...since you obviously can't do this...take it to a Paint %26amp; Body shop and have one of them fix your problem before you really mesh thoings up and cost you even more to fix it.

How can I prevent nail polish from chipping?
I love to have polished nails but i hate they way they look when they begin to chip!!
I have tried numerous brands and all of the polish seems to start chipping or flaking off after 1-2 days. What can I do to make my polish last all week long?
(I generally stick to red or pink polish if that matters....)

Does anyone know how to get red nail polish out of carpet?
Just got home from work and my 2 younger girls wanted 2 polish their nails. The basket of polish spilled and 2 bottles broke open on the floor. Carpet is green and tan. I'm afraid the polish remover will bleach the carpet. Any ideas?Does anyone know how to get red nail polish out of carpet?
Try Goof Off 2.
OODoes anyone know how to get red nail polish out of carpet?
Try nail polish remover...the NON- acetone kind.
Club soda. Really.
Please click on Nail Polish tab.
Try windex
there is a cleaner called, REVENGE. it will get anything out!! i dont know where to buy it though. people used to go around selling it door to door. its really the best. anyone who may know where to get it. let me know!!!
go to the store and get awesome it works great my mom always uses it.
seltzer water ....
ahh i did the same thing my mom freaked!!
we cut it down...tried to use nail remover...it help a little!!
Scissors.
call a carpet installer and cut it out and replace the area it wont be noticeable at all.
Try diluting the polish remover and blotting.
Yikes! I was going to suggest pure acetone but with that color of carpet, you don't want to do that! I would try to get as much out of your carpet as you can by hand (pick at it see if it flakes off or loosens first) some nail polishes are cheap and will come up somewhat. After that get some Simple Green - which you can find at any Dollar Store/ Wal-Mart, it is by far the best thing I have found for getting stains out and even ink, without damaging/bleaching what you are working with!
Nail polish remover its not just for your nails
Nail polish remover sometimes work (it depends on the color and the type of fabric of your carpet). Try the nail polish remover in a corner or under a cushion just in case it does bleach your carpet. Only use a small amount and read the back-side label of the polish remover too, it might say if its harmful to carpet or not. Hope this helps!!!eye mascara

Try lighter fluid before you go refinishing your floor. Acetone, the solvent in NPR, turns white in large quantities. It may be just a heavy residue left over on the floor. swab with the fluid and see if this helps. Olde English will help hide the area if it doesn't completely go away. You can purchase both at you local grocery store. How can I remove nail polish remover stain from hard wood floor?
yes. It removed the polyurethane finish from the floor. The only fix is to reapply the ';clear'; coat finish.
yes it will have to be refinished
Sand it then stain it.

How do i keep Nail Polish on for longer?
I love having painted nails but it always chips within a day of painting them. I use a base coat, two layers of the coloured coat and hen a top coat. I thought it could be because my nails are longish but i dont know. Any suggestions for long lasting nail colour? How do i keep Nail Polish on for longer?
Tip #1: Make sure nails are super clean Natural oils on your nails aid in chipping. Even if your nails are polish-free, apply polish remover to get rid of oils on the surface of nails.
Tip #2: Prep nails with a base coat Polish
Tip #3: Don't lay on the polish too thick Three to four thin coats of polish rather than 2 thick coats will last longer, cut down on drying time and cause fewer changes of bubbles brewing on your nails.
Tip #4: Don't forget the tip When polishing, polish the tip of the nail as well. This helps cut down on nail polish chipping.
Tip #5: Consider a shimmery color. The little particles of sparkle will help polish cling to your nails.
Tip #6: Apply a clear topcoat Topcoat helps extend the life of your manicure. You can use the base coat as a topcoat. Do brush topcoat on and around the edges of nails as well, it's an extra seal against chipping.
Tip #7: Allow proper drying time Make sure you give your nails a good 45 minutes drying time before handling objects. Once dry time is over, submerge nails in cold water then apply lotion. This allows for a slippery surface until nails are completely dry. For pedicures, wrap toes in plastic wrap if you're wearing shoes other than flip-flops or sandals.
Tip #8: Keep topcoat handy To prolong the life of your manicure, apply a topcoat every other day.How do i keep Nail Polish on for longer?
Clear coat.
put about 4-5 coats of nail polish. then 3 coats of top coat! :D

How do you remove nail polish from tera-cot-ta tiles without using turps?
It has been there for a couple of monthsHow do you remove nail polish from tera-cot-ta tiles without using turps?
I would try ';Goof Off'; Its a strong stain remover, but very safe on most surfaces. I've been removing paint splatters off wood floors, ceramic floors, and slate floors with this past week. How do you remove nail polish from tera-cot-ta tiles without using turps?
Use acetone, but be careful...it could cause the tile to discolor, or haze if it's glazed.

How can I remove hardened dark purple nail polish from white plush carpet?
I have splattered, dried purple nail polish over a 3.5 sq. ft. area in my formal living room, curtesy of my 7 year old who threw the bottle across the room during a ';temper tantrum';. The bottle top broke off...and now I'm left with a Jackson Pollack painting on my rug. I have tried nail polish remover and shaving cream. Remove as much of the foreign material as possible by blotting with a white paper towel or scraping with a dull knife.
Apply isopropyl rubbing alcohol to a clean white cloth, white paper towel or cotton ball. If the spot extends deep into the pile use a blotting motion until the spot is removed or no color is transferred to the cloth. Do not allow the alcohol to penetrate into the backing as this will destroy the latex bond. If the spot is on the surface only, rub in one direction at a time. Never us a circular motion to remove spot as this may destroy the texture. Stop if spot is removed. If not, go to Step 3.
Blot up as much of the spill as possible by blotting with a white paper towel or scraping with a dull knife.
Apply a small quantity of detergent solution to the spot. Use a blotting motion to work the detergent into the affected area. If spot is being removed continue applying detergent and blotting with a white paper towel until spot is removed.
Rinse with tap water using a spray bottle, blot to remove excess moisture.
Spray lightly with water, do not blot this time; apply pad of paper towels and brick and allow to dry.
If there is still some stain on the carpet and blotting is not removing it, then moisten the tufts in the stained area with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Let stand for on (1) hour. Blot and repeat until carpet is stain free. Light will cause peroxide to change back to water so no rinsing is necessary. Apply pad of paper towels and weight down with brick. How can I remove hardened dark purple nail polish from white plush carpet?

What nail polish should i wear to a Beach Party?
I'm going to a Beach party tomorrow, and in the morning i'm going to buy a dress and some accessories. I was thinking of buying a white dress and brown sandals.
What nail polish do you think will go with that? What nail polish should i wear to a Beach Party?
teal or white is what i prefer but orange can work too. Even a yellow. Because the dress is white several colors will match. Try to choose depending on your mood. yellow or orange would be bright and sunny but teal or a light blue would be cool and calming. Its shouldn't be a dark color but it shouldn't be very loud either (like a neon color..NO).
Hope i helped. What nail polish should i wear to a Beach Party?
Definitely a pretty coral color would be beachy and fun!

A coral color. That is really in right now. I use OPI Lost Without My GPS from Sephora. Love the color and looks great with almost everything, especially white.

How do you get nail polish out of fabrics?
I just spilled nail polish all over my $200 bed sheets!!!
Nail polish remover does not work!
HELP!!!!
What can I do to get it out?
Thanks!!!!How do you get nail polish out of fabrics?
Nail polish remover takes the polish off your nails, doesn鈥檛 it? It will work on most nail polish stains, whether on clothing or furniture. Apply the nail polish remover to the stain and then lightly blot the stain. Apply detergent and warm water to make sure that you have removed the stain completely and then wash as usual with your detergent. You may have to apply the nail polish remover and blot several times to remove all of the nail polish stain. Do not give up!
If the stain remains after you have tried using nail polish remover, then you may want to try a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Use a 50-50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water and apply it to the stain. Let the fabric sit in the sun for a few hours for maximum effectiveness and keep it moistened with the hydrogen peroxide and water mixture.
This method should be used only on white clothes or colorfast clothes. Always test in an inconspicuous area to make sure it will not harm your fabric.
I hope you get it all out! %26lt;3 :)How do you get nail polish out of fabrics?
Someone already mentioned acitone. Maybe wait a few days %26amp; see if it will chip off or maybe take it to the dry cleaners. My daughter spilled nail polish all over the carpet %26amp; I had to give the carpet a trim, but that won't work w/ sheets. Good luck!! That's some expensive sheets %26amp; probably worth it to take to the cleaners?
Try both acetone and non-acetone nail polish (depending on the one you already used).
If that doesn't work, try...
Goof Off, rubbing alcohol, hair spray, shaving cream, brake fluid cleaner, or hydrogen peroxide
errrrrrrrrrrrr try acitone (the strongest nailpolish romever) if that dosent work idk
see ya wouldnt want to be ya
acetone...it is a nail polish remover. But you then also risk bleaching out the fabric.
acetone is the strongest polish remover. If that doesn't work try a pair of scissors. LOL
Soak in warm water.

Does anyone know how to get red nail polish out of clothing?
The fabric is 100% polyester. The nail polish was pressed in, not just on the surface so it can't be scraped off. I have already tried using nail polish remover and acetone on the spot and it faded a little but didn't come close to removing it. I absolutely love this dress and don't want to have to throw it out. Please Help!Does anyone know how to get red nail polish out of clothing?
I don't think anything will take out nail polish. I'm surprised the remover didn't ruin the fabric. Is it in a spot you can cover with a pin or a scarf or a little embroidery?
If not, and you're desperate...you could try some Carbona. This is pretty harsh stuff, and might not do anything at all. Polyester isn't very forgiving when you get a stain on it. Maybe something like Goo Gone or Undue or something from one of those lines would work. They have stuff to remove candle wax and such, so maybe they have something like for nail polish.
Here's an idea...try some vegetable oil. It will take oil paint out of stuff. I was painting in my kitchen using an oil based paint, and my son (about 5 at the time) stepped into the paint pan then on the new tile floor. Vegetable oil took almost all the paint off the floor. Didn't do anything for Koolaid, but if it's ruined anyway, give it a try.

How do i remove nail polish frm my cartpet?
My cousins just spilled pink nail polish on our white carpet. I dont wanna tell my parents or shell cry. Eh, i dont want that to happen. How do i removed it?How do i remove nail polish frm my cartpet?
Careful with the nail polish remover. Some is made with various oily additives to protect the nails - but will actually make the stain on your carpet worse. You're better to use acetone from a paint store. Apply a little with a small brush, then blot, don't rub. If you rub, you'll spread the stain. Keep dabbing on acetone and blotting up the dilute polish with an absorbent piece of old towel. It will eventually all come up if you keep at it. (Keep using a fresh part of the old towel.)How do i remove nail polish frm my cartpet?
test the nail olish remover in a closet or somewhere you won't see, it may damage the carpet. If you can't use that, spray hairspray on it and scrub it up, over and over until it comes out. This is going to take a lot of scrubbing, but don't give up, it will come out.
Probably use nail polish remover. BTW, that stuff smells strong though. Good luck!

What are those thin nail polish brushes called when you get a manicure?
You know when you get your nails painted professionally and they use those really really fine tip brushes to paint little flowers and dots on your nails? What are those brushes called!? I'm trying to find them on eBay and I'm not getting a lot of search results. I'm probably typing in the wrong name.
As well, can you also do flowers and such with those dotting/marbleizing tools? What is the purpose of those tools? What are those thin nail polish brushes called when you get a manicure?
I have wondered that too!
But my friend has recommended just buying small paint brushes! (or brushes with small bristles)
- she is very artsy and she SWEARS by them, that they are the same thing!
try your local Michael's, or any Craft store :)What are those thin nail polish brushes called when you get a manicure?

i always go for solids.. for summer.. i like the oranges.. and pale pastel colours.. while for my feet i normally use a bright colour. such as hotpink
neon pink
well i love the color red on nails
i see it around a lot lately too
if anythin

It is SUPER CUTE!
It will never go out of style!
Hope I helped! %26lt;3
Coral is supposed to be the new red...love it with a little tan for summer.
bright, bold colors are good for summer and spring. get like a pink, yellow, green, or other summery color. but just think bright and bold, something that will stand outt.
There is a whole summer collection from OPI. A lot of them are brights, there are some that are paler, but I think bright pink and blue and purples are great. Some oranges too.
really bright pinks and oranges....so cute!
Very Very bright colors. Especially red. Try red polish on your toes, and french on your fingers. Youll look really pretty.
For summer I like the pearly corals to the beige's.
I noticed that French Tips are amazing or you could do a bright color like a pink or dark red. They are both amazin no matter who wears that color.
the new coral color is rly cool. its like orangy pink and rly hott this summer.
french tips so cute

What does dark-red nail polish tell about a girl's personality?
I noticed this innocent-looking, shy/quiet girl at Church. She is pretty, reserved in dress, wears no makeup, BUT wears dark red nail polish. She also has a few decorative rings on her fingers. What does this convey about her personality? What does dark-red nail polish tell about a girl's personality?
It simply means she likes red nail polish so do I. You can't judge someone by the color of their nails. What does dark-red nail polish tell about a girl's personality?
It could convey trying to get out there in the world and be someone by standing out with intresting appearence.
Sometimes it means the person is very bright and happy.
Or sometimes, they're emo or goth. It just depends.
Hope I helped!!!
were you lookin at me? it means she is a kinky girl :)
I wear red if it matches my clothes, purse or shoes in some way.
Sometimes I just wear it because I am feeling a bit naughty!
I think it's indicative of a young lady wanting to grow up and try a few of the latest fashions without being outrageous.
Her peers are doing the same and that is usually the only reason. Gals love to follow fashion, simple as that.
Nail polish is easier than makeup, because you don't have to put it on every morning. Maybe she's wearing dark red because that's what color her mom was using and she wanted to borrow it. Maybe she read that it would look elegant. Maybe she was just in a red mood. Maybe it matches her toenails.
I don't think it says anything about her personality. I change my nail polish color at least once a week, and I don't have multiple personalities.

Can nail polish remover bleach your clothes?
i tried to put black permanent marker on my boyfriends black hoodie and now i want to take it off. i heard nail polish remover would get rid of it, but could that risk bleaching his hoodie? Can nail polish remover bleach your clothes?
Most nail polish remover is made with acetone (which is not an acid, but is a very good solvent for markers). Acetone will bleach the fabric, but additionally if the hoodie is made with any man-made fibres it may also eat through the fabric!
Can nail polish remover bleach your clothes?
uh yes, it's a strong acid which i'm sure will mess up the black color, and if the marker's black, why does it matter?

How do you get bubbles out of nail polish?
This doesn't happen with all my nail polish. Just a bottle or two. I don't shake the bottles much and they seem to go on smooth. Once it has dried on the nails there are all these tiny little bubbles. How do you avoid this? How do you get bubbles out of nail polish?
To avoid bubbles you need to put the polish on in thin coats and allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one. You could also try thinning your nailpolish a little bit with a few drops of nail polish thinner (NOT nail polish remover). Thin the polish a little bit at a time until you get the consistency you want (you don't want to do it all at once or you could end up with too-thin polish). The last thing you could try is keeping your nail polish in the fridge - that will help to keep it fresh. Let it warm up to room-temperature when you want to use it.How do you get bubbles out of nail polish?
your probably putting it on to thick. try a thin coat let it dry then put a other thin coat on
you are either getting bubbles because your coats are too thick, and/or you are not allowing the coats to dry fully before adding another on top. if your polish has gotten old it may have thickenned and the texture is now not optimal for use. you should use fresh polish, paint the polish on in thin layers, and allow each layer to dry fully before putting the next one on
Actually there are two ways to get rid of the bubbles. One way is to paint consecutive layers of polish immediately after each other before the previous coat has time to set. Once the polish begins to set, you have to let it dry completely before adding another coat to avoid the bubbles. But if you polish each coat immediately following the other (like they do in the salon) you shouldn't have a problem. The second way is to let a sufficient amount of time pass for each coat to dry. (Very time consuming)Try it, you'll see.
wash and dry your hands and wait about 10 minutes. then paint on one coat and let dry then paint your second coat. it also helps to not put your hands in water for an hour or two after you have painted them.
Once bubbles appear, start over. The problem might be with the polish or with the undercoat. Mine gets bubbles when it's put on too thicky or in humid weather.
the polish may be old or u may have a problem like me which is sweaty or moist nail beds. i know that sounds weird but i have been told by more then one nail technician that i have that problem. it also makes it where my polish doesnt last long. it starts peeling within a couple of days.
Your polish may be old and need replacing. I have seen this happen if it is a cheaper brand as well.
shake the bottles then let it settle for a little while. this used to happen to me all the time.
put it on slower and blush in long upward strokes
You can't. Throw it out. I've had it happen to me.

Nail polish remover, also known as acetone.
Keep in mind, acetone can also take the finish off of the floor, so use a q-tip and stay away from the finished wood. Have a couple of paper towels with you to clean up any acetone that gets on the finish. When you're done, wax the spot where the nail polish was.
Good luck.Tips for getting dark nail polish off of wooden floor?

How do you get nail polish out of denim?
i need to know how to remove nail polish from denim with the least amount of damage.. please help! How do you get nail polish out of denim?
Let the nail polish completely dry. Don't rub it when it is wet, as it will set in the clothes and NEVER come out. Let it dry, and then scrape it off with a sharp knife or razor blade. That should do the trick. Then, wash it and any excess stuff will come off easily. Good luck! How do you get nail polish out of denim?
I dont know why people say tide to go for everything. That stuff is not that great.
Firstly it would have helped if you would of said what color. If its pink no problem clean it with a Q tip and nail polish remover . If its red or black your going to need some goo be gone for 3$ at walmart and then put some dawn dishsoap on the remaining stain and then let it sit over night and stick it in the washer.
This may help:
Ue nailpolish remover, if not then its concentrate also known as ';thinner'; or chemically ';acetaldehye'; also known as Acetone.
You probably can't. Sorry.
I dont know if it works but try tide on the go or tide.
try rubbing alcohol
it works good
soak it with nail polish remover?

How can I get nail polish out of my skinnies?
It's only a small blob but I don't know how to get it out, any help please? How can I get nail polish out of my skinnies?
Omg I can actually help you i bought a pair of rock and republic jeans and i was going to a festival i was due to finish getting ready at my friends house i got in my car with my new expensive jeans on and my makeup bag in my lap (agghhh!) my nail varnish leaked through and dripped a big blob onto my jeans.
I actually cried (no really i did!) i went to jonathans (a dry cleaning place near me) and the elderly lady told me to get a blade from a stanley knife and scim the lump of nail varnish away so it is completely flat when you brush ur finger on it get 2 ice cubes and put one either side of the stain keep them there and you'll see they stick to the jeans (they have to be fresh ice cubes straight from the freezer) after about 2-3 minutes put them away from the jean and you'll see on the ice a hard bit of polish on ur jeans now will be a slight stain you now need some everyday naill polish remover completely soak 2 cotton balls in the remover and press tightly one on each side of the stain keep doing till stain is not visible (twice it took me and mine was BAD!) The lady said the worse thing you can do is try and put polish remover on first as this just spreads the varnish becos it softens it then the fabric soaks it up.
She said as long as i followed her directions to the letter she would guarantee it would come out and it did! u wouldnt even no as good as new!
good luck and keep me posted!

Nail polish remover, bleach or I know this sounds stupid, but a portable Tide stick. I had a huge stain on my sheets (food stain horrible and colored) it got out after I used my tide stick on it. (I used it because I didn't want my mom to know about another stain, she did the laundry at the time)
Try nail polish remover, but if it doesn't work.. Then get creative. Try turning the ';blob'; into a design.. even something simple like a heart or a star. Or you could put a cool patch over it (like one from Hot Topic or something)
use nail polish remover and wipe gently then wash with a moisturizing soap and lastly use moisturizer after to prevent dryness.
I have yet to get nail polish out of one of my jeans. Even with nail polish remover.
You can't.
acetone nail polish remover won't ruin your jeans. just blot the area and rub gently, then wash them
use nail polish remover with a cotton ball
Nail polish remover.... Or you could get more nail varnish and do an awesome pattern %26lt;3
nail polish remover with a cotton bud.
it works! i got it in my hair haha; good luck xxx

I would have to say black. I feel it's me because you can't explain black, and therefore you can't explain me.
My color is black or blood red. This is because I am really into the supernatural and am a former goth chick...plus it freaks people out sometimes when I paint them black and dress up gothic. It's kind of funny because everyone is so religious where Ilive that they look at me in horror and shock when I go out of the house like that. It really is amusing LOL :)

How do you get nail polish out of a carpet?
I spilled a drop of red/pink nail polish on my carpet which is a beige color. I tried nail polish removed and kitchen cleaner, but it is stil really obvious. We are moving out really soon and already got our carpets cleaned, i dont want to do that again for just one tiny spot. What can I do to get it out??? Help?!?How do you get nail polish out of a carpet?
i would Like to no tht aswell LolHow do you get nail polish out of a carpet?
if you can't get it out with ';goo be gone';, and if it is a very small spot, then take a razor blade and gently cut the fiber that has the polish on it. This can work as long as the spot is small and won't leave a gaping hole in the carpet. if the carpet has the longer fibers, then after you cut out the spot, find an inconspicuous part of the carpet (in the closet) and gently cut a few fibers; then with clear glue, tap the cut fibers into the space you cut out.
You will want to test this in a corner of a closet first to make sure it will not damage or discolor your carpet fibers but, I think it will solve your problem.Try using acetone or nail tip remover. It's available at beauty supply stores%26amp; retail stores such as Walmart.Afterwards wash the spot with laundry detergent or a dish liquid that's not antibacterial as you don't want to mix chemicals.
there is a liquid called ';goo gone'; you can get it at any hardware store i think it will get rid of it
cant you just colour it in with felt pens to match your carpet?
yeah try WD 40

How do you get nail polish out of your hair?
My 4 year old daughter was playing and decided to paint her nail....and her hair, with my nailpolish .Now Im scared, i dont want to use nail polish remover on her hair because it might make her hair fall out or even color it blond or something, more or less sting her scalp, so how should i get it out ?How do you get nail polish out of your hair?
Just wash it over and over, and scrub it good. How do you get nail polish out of your hair?
hello i dnt think that your sister had polished her hair fully...... but after all you can use dilute acetone or alchohol to remove it. it will make no harm to the hair of your sister....... ok hav nice time and enjoy..........
Just use shampoo and conditioner
Just wash it a couple of times and comb with a fine tooth comb. Don't put chemicals in her hair. It will come out!!! When I was 12 I put peroxide in my hair because my friends did and my hair always goes light now. Nail polish remover could strip the pigment in her hair.
Yuo could jus put some nail polish remover on a towel and rub it on the part of your hair that has the nail polish on it.
A repeated wash may do the trick. Or even though I know this works best with chewing gum but try putting ice ON THE HAIR and maybe it will break up and peel off.
Umm... go to the local hair stlyest!
You could use nail polish remover, but don't ';wash'; her hair with it. Find the polish in her hair, use an old towel or cloth and pour the polish remover over her hair. Fold the towel over it and rub it or blot it. And you know what they say ';Repeat as necessary.'; When you get done be sure to wash her hair with shampoo and water, it should remove any polish remover residue from her hair.
Good Luck.
just scrub HARD with soap and water OR you can try an Anti-dandruff shampoo, they have chemicals similar to those found in nail polish remover.
Cut all the hair off lol
wash, rinse, repeat. got it?
XD
I hate it when that happens..it happens tome allthe time!!
Prolly you should just scrub it really good.
scissors
V05 hot oil treat ment. it will come right out when the oil is warm and still soaked into your hair. all you have to do is pull out the peices with your finger nails or a fine tooth comb. it works because it worked for me. but remember that the oil still needs to be saturated into the hair.
Try a little rubbing Alchola it worked on my 2yr old granddaughters hair she touched her hair b4 it dried on her nails %26amp; i used rubbing alchol
I like the scissors answer....it'll grow back...keep it simple.
you might want to use fingernail polish remover thats like the only thing you can use... good luck
wash her hair until the nailpolish comes out.
get some alcohol and a wash rag it should rub right out
try using corn oil or something oily
punish her by cutting all her hair off thats the only way to get it out! im serious!
shampoo %26amp; alcohol
let it dry and pick it out.
either wash and scrub really hard or cut that part off, but i think u could scrub it hard out but if that doesn't work then just go get a hair cut!!!
try to put hair color and wash it off
wash your hair with nail polish remover
Just lather the hair or section with shampoo or conditioner. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, rinse and blow dry while combing and the polish will have chipped away.
You can also try removing it with hand sanitizer while coming or brushing the nail polished area. Good luck!
Your not going to like this but 95% Alochol will get it out but it will damage your hair.
if u use nail polish remover and DEEP condition your hair it will not fall out.

How do you remove nail polish from skin?
I know the logical thing would be to use nail polish remover, but this is for my 6 year old. She got out of the shower and decided to polish her toenails. She spilled the nail polish all down the front of her body. So needless to say it's in some sensitive areas. I tried scrubbing it, but it was hurting her. I think nail polish remover would be to harsh on her skin. Any ideas?? Moms help!!!!How do you remove nail polish from skin?
First I know you will secure the nail polish in the future.
The acetone to take off the nail polish would be very harsh. Why not just let nature take its court and let the skin ';wear'; and not try to remove it.
Otherwise, I would contact Poison Control or your family doctor and ask for sage advise. How do you remove nail polish from skin?
Take her to an emergency room and let the professionals handle it.
Either use the nail polish remover, soap and water...or it'll just disappear after a few baths
alchol or nail polish remover
but rinse her body after
You may have to let it wear off and just scrub in the bath. Otherwise, try the non-acetone polish remover that they use for fake nails. This is a tamer remover that is designed to not melt fake nails.
Let her soak in some warm water and then use soap or cleaner with a washcloth. If it doesn't come off then i would use alcohol for anything or just dry off completely with a towel and that will rub some of it off.
I agree. take her to the hospital and tell them what happened. It is always better to be safe than sorry. I would say to use nail polish remover but shes 6 years old and that could hurt/not be good for skin, so just take her to the emergency room.
Usually hot water and soap work well. Just don't scrub too hard. After a few baths it should all come off.
while nail polish remover would work for most areas, you are right that it should not be used on any sensitive areas. Another bath while it's still wet should remove most of it, but I would recommend that you call your family doctor or urgent care center and see what they think you should do after that.
the nail polish remover should be okay, id try it and see if shes okay with it, otherwise, multiple washings should work

Does nail polish remover remove nail polish ? Why do you think it will not work? You may have to apply and reapply a couple of times to remove all the polish. Since it is acetone it will most definitely work.
Try some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball but I think the nail polish remover will work. I have gotten paint off my phone by just using a microfiber cloth.(Nail polish remover is acetone)
Q tip with nail polish remover. If that doesn't work, try one with acetone in it. If THAT doesn't work, try straight acetone!

How do you remove nail polish from blue jeans?
I was doing my nails and i got some pink nail polish on my favorite jeans. How would i get that stain out. I tried using the finger nail remover but that made it worse. How do you remove nail polish from blue jeans?
try that new pen by Tide. It'll take out just about anything. How do you remove nail polish from blue jeans?
Ouch. You really cant. If you are so attached to thouse jeans, I think you should just make a design over the stain with more nail polish. If you think that would be tacky, save up for some new jeans.
Pure Acetone, yet sometimes you will just spread it out and it will look like a even bigger, but lighter, stain to behold. Peace
I think your only option is to try to scrape it off the best you can. Polish remover will spread it and make it worse.
where is it at. Make it fashionable by puting some more nail polish in some places like the back pockets make a heart. then put glitter all over your pants. this will make it unoticable.
u cant get it out
it doesnt come out. trust me.

Is there any way I can remove nail polish stains from my skin?
I just put on a dark-colored nail polish and decided afterwards that I didn't like the color. I've removed it, but now my fingers are stained and nail polish remover won't take it off. I look like I have alien hands! Is there any way I can remove nail polish stains from my skin?
its most likely because you didn't use base coat that happened to my friend one time and her nails were green for a while i would just paint over it and wait til your nails grow outIs there any way I can remove nail polish stains from my skin?
If you took your nail polish off correctly there should be none on your hands. Next time soak a cotton pad in the remover and hold it tightly to your nail for a moment to let it soak in, then in one sweep pinching inwards so as not to smudge outside your nail, swipe the pad away from you, 99% of the nail varnish will be on the pad and only a small wipe will be needed to remove the residue. Nail polish remover is the only thing that can take it off but give your hands a good soak to soften the in-ground polish from your skin.
I do that all the time! Nail Polish Remover won't work, but try scrubbing your fingers and then let them dry. The polish should just peel off.

What is the best way to remove nail polish from my leather sofa?
Do not use nail polish remover as this will damage the finish on the leather which will then need replacing. See if you can get an edge of the nail polish and peel it off, if this is not possible you will need to get a qualified technician who will be bale to remove the polish and also rectify any damage.
DIY methods will generally damage the leather and remove pigmetn or finish so will be more costly in the long runWhat is the best way to remove nail polish from my leather sofa?

How do I make nail polish thinner?
I have nail polish that has gotten thick, but I still have quite a bit left. How can I thin it out enough to use it?How do I make nail polish thinner?
If u have a beauty supply store like sally's or something near by they carry a liquid nail polish thinner. You put a few drops in teh bottle and it thins out like the day u bought it. I use it a lot. Just go to a professional beauty supply store or ask someone who works in a nail salon. And don't put remover in the bottle as suggested by someone else because it will thin for a while but then it will thicken up and ruin the polish. I speak from experience. How do I make nail polish thinner?

I agree with Hez, It really works, I have to do it all the time with my speed drying nail polish.
add a few drops of nail polish remover to it and shake it up really well. this really works!
i dont think thats possible.

Polish thinner that you buy in professional beauty stores, or the old thick of adding polish remover (it only works for a while)
And the mother of all polish tricks: keep you polishes in the fridge! Old, but it works! :)
it's true, you can add a little bit of nail polish remover. i'm a manicurist and if we can't find the polish thinner, that's what we use.

The only thing I can think of is non-acetone nail polish remover. Apply, let it soak in, then BLOT dont' rub, ith a paper towel. You will probably have to do this several times.
Test it in an inconspicous area first to make sure it won't damage the fabric.Whats the best way to remove finger nail polish from jeans and carpet?

How can I get it out with out bleaching or spreading the stain into the carpet and without taking the paint off of the wall? I have tried nail polish remover and soap and water. DO NOT put fingernail polish remover on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I too late? It sounds like from your post you already did it :(
If you just let it dry, you can pick most of it out (or even cut it out of the carpet if worst comes to worst) but if you put remover on it, it ruins the carpet, spreads the stain, and makes it look ten times worse. How can I get nail polish out of carpet and off the wall?

How do I get the smell of nail polish out of my purse?
I had a bottle of base coat in my purse and somehow it broke and leaked inside. How do I clean it? How do I get out the smell? How do I get the smell of nail polish out of my purse?
After you clean it, I recommend putting one of the FRIDGE IT wafer odor absorbers - activated carbon filter in your purse. I've used these too for old purse and even hope chest, never mind in fridge and kitchen cabinets. they work great by soaking up the odor without any fragrances. Been using these for along time all around my house after a friend recommended it. I usually buy at Linens N Things but now also available on line at www.innofresh.com. No spills or chemicals to worry about. How do I get the smell of nail polish out of my purse?
to get smells out of absolutely anything, especially purse and bag spills, i always use a couple of dryer sheets and i leave them in there for several days, and i change them again after a few days if the smell is still lingering. my absolute favorite dryer sheets are either 'cling-free' in the pink box (i have only seen them at walmart) they smell like baby powder, and then if i cannot find those, i can always find bounce with febreeze built in, i think its called 'spring %26amp; renewal' they work for absolutley everything! i use them in my dresser, in luggage, in storage, in my furnace vents, everywhere! i hope this helps :)
I think people are gonna start calling me the baking soda girl, but use baking soda. Take a box and pour it mainly on the spot, stuff your purse with newspaper and let it set for at least half a day. The longer the better. Then just take a dry cloth and wipe all the baking soda out. The baking soda and newspaper absorbs the odor. It really, really works. Good luck.

How do i get rid of a nail polish stain on my carpet?
I have a 50 cent size stain of dark red nail polish in my carpet.
I have tried nail polish remover but that just seems to rub it in.
Please help if my dad sees it he will kill me as it is bright white carpet!
THANKS!How do i get rid of a nail polish stain on my carpet?
A whole bottle of shaving cream. That happend at my grammas and she got so worried. Someone told her to use shaving cream and it came right out! Trust me it works. I was there!
It will take the whole bottle but it works. There was also remover in the carpet too which made the stain smeer. You could also try bleach.
Can I tell the story though. Sarah spilled nail polish remover on Shelly's foot and Shelly had long pants and red polish on so the polish left big splotches on the carpet. It was dark red! My gramma walked in and she almost had a heart attack. Shelly's mom came in and said it would come out with shaving cream. Nobody beleived her but she came out about 5 minutes later and announced that all the splotches were gone. We went inside to check and it acually worked! She also announced that my gramma needed to buy more shaving cream now! lol!How do i get rid of a nail polish stain on my carpet?
buy a new carpet:) jk. what you can do is ( as long as the stains not very deep) you can actually cut it out. it sounds stupid and totally noticable at first, but after you do that, add water or club soda then vaccumn it out. it will look normal. the reason for the water and vaccumning is so it puffs out a little to fill out where its a teeny bit shorter. dont even attempt this though if your stain is deep.
If the stain has NOT dried, soak the stain with hairspray and keep blotting with a clean towel or rag until the polish is taken up. Do NOT rub, it will spread the stain.

NEED ANSWER QUICK how do you get nail polish out of the carpet?
I just spilt a whole buch of nail polish on the carpet what do i do to remove it?NEED ANSWER QUICK how do you get nail polish out of the carpet?
Sorry, but by the time you finished typing the question it was already too late. If you're going to have to cut out the carpet anyway, then trying the nail polish remove can't really hurt. Put some on a rag and carefully blot the area. You don't want it to start loosening up and ';bleed'; to another area. If it's a lot of nail polish, though, you will probably be better off to take a carpet knife or box cutter, cut a nice square spot out, and put in a patch.
I did that once... that's when we went to hardwood floors! :-)NEED ANSWER QUICK how do you get nail polish out of the carpet?
Acetone, or nail polish remover. Use a white cloth. At first it will look worse, stay after it and it will remove the polish, if it is a colored carpet, you will have to try to blend it in with powder and a little coloring agent
IF YOUR CARPET IS THICK YOU COULD TRY TO CUT SOME OF IT OUT I THINK THE REMOVER WILL DAMAGE THE COLOR OF THE CARPET BUT MOSTLY I SAY YOUR IN BIG TROUBLE TRY A CARPET COMPANY IF YOU CAN FIND ONE OPEN OR TRY ON LINE MAYBE THEY CAN HELP GOOD LUCK
nail polish remover!
The answer is this: You're screwed.
And don't listen to the Nail Polish Remover answers.
That will make it worse or completely bleach/eat away the area -- wasting your time.
The answer above, cut out the area, is the correct one -- and is what a professional will do for you. But you can try it yourself. It's not hard to do and the results will look no worse than what you already have. If if is not to your satisfaction, then call in the expert and, again, you won't be paying that much more to fix the attempt you, yourself, undertook.

What is a good way to keep nail polish from chipping?
I get my nails done at a salon, but they don't last long before chipping. I don't want fake nails but i want them to last longer. I have tried to apply a clear coat at home when it starts to chip but it comes out horrible and with bubbles sometimes. I don't think it is the nail polish because i know it is a good brand. any ideas? What is a good way to keep nail polish from chipping?
try not to do too much no doing dishes it saturates the nail and makes the paint come off easierWhat is a good way to keep nail polish from chipping?
Good question...you can take this one to the bank. Buff Buff Buff If you buff your nail's before you polish the will look great and last forever. Try it, just get a mild-med buffer from the beauty supply store and after the old polish is off and your nails are clean Buff each nail until you see like a white dust on each nail. Wash once more then apply your polish. You won't need a top coat or finish coat. Enjoy
1. Clean nails with Rubbing Alcohol to free the nails from dirt, oil, lotion, etc...
2. Apply Base Coat
3. Apply 2 coats of Nail Polish
4. Apply 2 coats of a protective chip resistant Top Coat.
5. Reapply Top Coat througout the week
6. After a week remove old nail polish. Repeat steps 1 -5
What you can do is when you paint your nail go and do a 2nd coat and if needed do more then that. Also put on clear nail polish you can get that at walmart and target for cheap prices.
Hope this Helps

Use a sally hanson top coat and let it dry or it will make bubbles and get sticky. It sometimes takes longer to dry than everyday nail polish, or when you get your nails done ask them to put a clear coat over the nail polish.
before you put the color on your applying at the store you can get a clear coat, and put that on before, and then paint your nails, then do it againn and it works for me perfecttt
Put on nail vitamins before doing your nails. You can get it at beauty stores, and it looks like clear nail polish but its not. It worked for me. oh and milk keeps your nails lookin pretty and healthy.
I've heard of this before but if you stick your nail polish in the fridge it's supposed to last longer. (:
When you wash dishes, wear gloves. The dish soap is too harsh for most skin/nails/polish.
Put a top coat on afterwards.
Use a quick dry on top of an anti-chip top coat.

How do i get nail polish stains off my sweatpants?
I don;'t want to buy anything, so some like household items. Our washer is broke, so i have to live with the clothes i got that r clean for now.
its red nail polish, and the pants are green.
thank you.How do i get nail polish stains off my sweatpants?
Lets hope you have nail polish remover
Scrape the excess paint off of the clothing. A butter knife helps to lift the excess paint off (and clean the knife with nail polish remover.)
Test a spot of acetone where you cant see it to note any changes. If no changes (discoloration) go on. If there are changes, stop, you're stuck.
Flush acetone through the stain to an absorbent pad or rag. Continue to do this until you're not seeing anymore color come through. A white rag or pads would work the best for this.
Let it dry throughly and then wash twice in the washer. Use a bit of stain remover if you have it. If not, dab a little detergant on the spot and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then throw in the wash. How do i get nail polish stains off my sweatpants?
My best bet would be to use nail-polish remover. Soaking a cotton ball in remover and then dabbing the stain with it should help. If the stain has been there for quite a while and is completely dried, you might have to use more remover and leave the cotton ball on the stain for a while!
Either way...definitely first test the remover on some part of the sweatpants that cannot be seen, just to make sure that you don't end up removing the dye from the sweatpants along with the nail polish! :)
I think you should use this website. If you live in england and have watched 'How clean is your house?' You will know that Kim Woodburn and Aggie Makenzie are the Queens of clean.
It reads ...
Lay the fabric face down on a cloth and dab the stain from the other side with nail-varnish remover. If stain persists, try dry cleaning.
But please visit the website for any of your other cleaning needs :)
I hope I have helped you

Soak in nail polish remover for that spot and keep dabbing the spot with an old rag, then soak in hot water and scrub area with bar soap. If stain is there repeat.
I think you might be stuck with the stain. I've had nail-polish remover eat away at the fabric before it took the stain out. Ended up having to buy a new shirt...

How do i get nail polish off of my wall? (without ruining the paint on the wall)?
I spilled a little bit of nail polish on my bathroom wall. How do I get it off without ruining the paint on the wall?????How do i get nail polish off of my wall? (without ruining the paint on the wall)?
try a magic eraserHow do i get nail polish off of my wall? (without ruining the paint on the wall)?
if u have any left over paint, then paint over it, if not use a acetone free nail polsih remover (as said by carrie), i had normal paint on my wall and i used a normal kitchin surface spray,i think it was flash citrus or somthing like that, it worked but im not too sure about nial polish try it on a small descrete area.
Another idea (if it wont come off) is hang a mirror or something if its in an appropriate place... haha =脼
Try acetone free nail polish remover, test in corner first to see if it pulls the paint off too. Make sure it is acetone free as the acetone in standard removers will strip paint for sure.
If that fails then I'd try sanding the polish off, wrap fine sandpaper on a lollypop stick so you can work in the smallest of areas.
Good luck
Arnie is right Magic erasers work great. I was so surprised. They got to much stuff off your walls, like finger prints and nail polish, and scratch marks, it even removed a coffee stain from when I dropped my cup and it splattered all over. They work good on everthing sink bathtub etc.eye mascara

How do I revive old and gooey nail polish?
I heard that nail polish remover can renew your nail polish that's gotten all old and stale like (hard) in its tube. Is that true? How do I revive old and gooey nail polish?
You need to add a small amount of nail polish remover to the bottle and shake and leave for a while. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - depends on how hard and stale it is.How do I revive old and gooey nail polish?
No it makes it go lighter and bleaches your nails and makes them sore.
Put it in the microwave and it will melt and soften

How can you remove nail polish off floor?
I used nail polish remover, but it made my floor a lighter color. How can you remove nail polish off floor?
if u get some GOO Gone t will work...i was painting my nails once and it spilt on the floor and i didnt know what to do then my mum found out and freaked and i used nail polish remover but it took the varnish off the wood then i used goo gone or u can get goof gone (pretty much the same) and it came right offHow can you remove nail polish off floor?
ouch. that hurts. about a month ago, i was putting away nail polish remover and it spilled, and I had a bag of cotton balls out. The bag color was blue/purple, and the 2 mixed. It left a big purple stain on our kitchen tile, and it defiently doesnt come out. I tried everything from floor cleaner, soap, shampoo, dlaundry detergent, you know EVERYTHING. It doesnt come out :(. But if its just nail polish remover, yes it shoudl come off. Just use some soap and water, just make sure its JUST nail polish remover. Good luck!
Try rubbing alcohol. But be careful, if your floor has a glossy finish or vanrish, it will probably come off. If this is the case, you may have to go look for some specialty cleaner thats safe on finishes
acetone works the best, but you need to rinse it immediately with water and get it all off the floor.
try bleech?
depends what type of floor you are talking about.
USE ULTRA H0T WATER AND S0AP
hot water and elbow grease

What is the best way to get a really strong / dark color of nail polish off of nails?
other than the typical brands of polish remover that can be bought at a grocery store, are there any tricks other than going to an actual salon as far as getting polish off?
This is a deep purple almost black, any tips are greatly appreciated. What is the best way to get a really strong / dark color of nail polish off of nails?
soak them in acetone removerWhat is the best way to get a really strong / dark color of nail polish off of nails?
Use 100% acetone with a cotton ball to remove your polish. Then wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water so the acetone doesn't dry out your fingers and nails too much. When you first remove dark polish your nails may be a bit discolored (when you remove dark red or black polishes your nails may look a little red stained). This is normal. You will just have to wait it out. You can apply clear polish if you have brittle nails, but its best to leave them clean for a couple of days to regain your natural nail color.
i did the same and the only way i could get it off was to put another nail varnish on top and quickly rub it off before it set.
the wet varnish stuck to the dark one and rubbed off to...
{remember next time to apply a base coat ~ it protects yur nails from being dyed}
hope it comes off %26amp; gud luck x
Use a light colored nail polish to paint over the old polish. Then remove with an acetone remover. A good remover is Cutex Essential Care Pads. It's not acetone based, but it removes nail polish really well (without the mess!)
Just use regular nail polish remover but keep changing the cotton ball until all of the color is off. If you use a dirty cotton ball, the color will continue to transfer back on your nail. :)
use nail polish remover with a q tip and go around the edges then use a cotton ball to do the rest
Use nail polish with acetone in it then use rubbing alcohol after it..
nail polish remove or you can scratch it off
acetone.
it's about $2 at sally's.
take some hot water n acetone n soak ur fingers in it for 10 minutes and when u wipe it come off

I finally stopped biting my nails. Best nail polish to strengthen them and make them grow fast?
Stopped biting my nails after about 12 years or so. I bit my nails more than anyone else I've ever met! I finally decided I was going to break this habit, and I have.
It's been about a week, and my nails are already looking so wonderful. I'm so excited at this point and have no urge to bite them anymore.
I want them to be healthy and grow fast fast fast? Help!I finally stopped biting my nails. Best nail polish to strengthen them and make them grow fast?
OPI Nail Envy and prenatal vitamins...which will make your nails and hair grow grow grow:)I finally stopped biting my nails. Best nail polish to strengthen them and make them grow fast?
Not much can be done to speed the growth of your nails. However, taking biotin supplements will help to increase their thickness which in turn will make them stronger. With daily usage, results can be seen in about 4-5 months.
Avoid the use of nail strengtheners that contain formaldehyde since over use will result in dry, brittle nails. True, they do work - at first. But over time, they do more damage than good. The key is to only use them for as long as you need for your nails to regain their health, Then, stop using hardeners, If they get weak after a while, you can resume use of strengtheners. But do stop once the problem is under control,
Anyway, there isn't any way to make your nails grow 'fast.' They grow out at a predetermined rate and the only thing you can do is to take steps to maximize that rate but you cannot make them grow any faster than that...
I hope this helps
best advice. TIME will make them grow

How can I make nail polish smell less noticable?
Whenever I paint my nails, even though I'm not near them, my family complains about the smell of it. Most of the time I do spray body mist to cover up the smell a little bit, and while it does help, it becomes a pain. It's also getting too cold to keep my window open.
So is there anything I could do to minimize the smell of it?How can I make nail polish smell less noticable?
I'm in the same situation. My family can smell my nail polish HOURS after they've dried, even though I can barely smell them right after I've finished putting it on. What I usually do is I do my nails a half hour or so before I go to sleep. That way, they have the entire night to dry where no one will be to smell the nail polish. How can I make nail polish smell less noticable?
I really don't think that there is anything that you can do about the nail polish smell. It might have something to do with the chemicals that are used in nail polish. That would be my guess. Can you use a small fan in your room also?

Try the acetone polish remover. Use a cotton swab and try not to smear it any further. Afterwards hand wash the area with mild soap and water to remove the acetone!
Its probably not going to come out. You may try ';Hints from Heloise'; go to www.goodhousekeeping.com. Also if you cant get it out go to walmart and put some cute decals on to match ur room and cover it up.
Ask it nicely to leave or pretend that your big burly partner will be home soon and will not be happy to find it there. (Make sure you tell it you will call it tomorrow though - this should soften the blow).
This method should work for most fabrics: After testing for colorfastness on a hidden spot, sponge over the stain with pure acetone, available at beauty-supply shops and drugstores. Then launder the shirt as you normally would. Never use acetone on fabrics that contain triacetate or acetate (check care labels), because it can dissolve the cloth. For those, use amyl acetate, available at drugstores.

try toothpaste and warm milk with a rough brush. No joke it should work.

What can i do to keep my nail polish from chipping while in the pool?
i just got my nails done yesterday and tomorrow i'm going swimming with some friends. but everytime i go in a pool, my nail polish always chips. =(
What can i do to keep it from chipping? What can i do to keep my nail polish from chipping while in the pool?
I would ignore the advice for OPI, because that is some of the worst-chipp-y nail polish I've ever seen. I would use NYC. Base coat, color, color, top coat. What can i do to keep my nail polish from chipping while in the pool?
A good top coat and if you are getting your nails done at a salon, find another one!!!!!! Salon work should last a min. of a week of your nails looking good!
use OPI polish, it styas really well, a good top coat gives pretty good protection.
Sally hansen diamond strength top coat always works for me.
put 2 coats of opi or any other brand of topcoat. that should keep your nails nice looking and reduce chipping
put on a strengthen overcoat so it won't chip..i have done it before
put on a clear coat on before you go in and when you come out

How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
She complains that it hurts when we use nail polish remover, I was hoping someone has some other idea about how to go about this. How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
I normally let my daughter soak in the bathtub and then later apply some baby oil to a cotton ball and rub very firmly and lifts it off....How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
Maybe skin so soft from Avon??? Not sure. I wouldn't use chemicals tho
The only way will probably be the polish remover and think of it as a lesson learned, if you have any gently spread some Calenduler cream on afterwards if her skin is sore.
perhaps rubbing alcohol would work
rubbing alcohol
It's probably the acetone in the nail polish remover...her skin is too sensitive for it yet. Either try non-acentone or like some of the previous answers have suggested, rubbing alcohol.
Put her in the bathtub and use soap and water. If it doesn't work go back to the nail polish remover and tell her this is the only way to do it.
if it's on her skin, i wouldn't worry about it. in a few days, that skin will be shed (just like everyone else, this is normal, we just never notice it) and the nail polish will go with it.
if you need it off *now*, then try a different nail polish remover, maybe one without acetone would work? you could try scratching it off gently, but that might cause some discomfort as well.
for now, it probably will be ok
Sometimes baby oil can work if you rub it quite firmly.
