i just got my nails done yesterday and tomorrow i'm going swimming with some friends. but everytime i go in a pool, my nail polish always chips. =(
What can i do to keep it from chipping? What can i do to keep my nail polish from chipping while in the pool?
I would ignore the advice for OPI, because that is some of the worst-chipp-y nail polish I've ever seen. I would use NYC. Base coat, color, color, top coat. What can i do to keep my nail polish from chipping while in the pool?
A good top coat and if you are getting your nails done at a salon, find another one!!!!!! Salon work should last a min. of a week of your nails looking good!
use OPI polish, it styas really well, a good top coat gives pretty good protection.
Sally hansen diamond strength top coat always works for me.
put 2 coats of opi or any other brand of topcoat. that should keep your nails nice looking and reduce chipping
put on a strengthen overcoat so it won't chip..i have done it before
put on a clear coat on before you go in and when you come out

How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
She complains that it hurts when we use nail polish remover, I was hoping someone has some other idea about how to go about this. How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
I normally let my daughter soak in the bathtub and then later apply some baby oil to a cotton ball and rub very firmly and lifts it off....How do I remove nail polish from my two year olds skin?
Maybe skin so soft from Avon??? Not sure. I wouldn't use chemicals tho
The only way will probably be the polish remover and think of it as a lesson learned, if you have any gently spread some Calenduler cream on afterwards if her skin is sore.
perhaps rubbing alcohol would work
rubbing alcohol
It's probably the acetone in the nail polish remover...her skin is too sensitive for it yet. Either try non-acentone or like some of the previous answers have suggested, rubbing alcohol.
Put her in the bathtub and use soap and water. If it doesn't work go back to the nail polish remover and tell her this is the only way to do it.
if it's on her skin, i wouldn't worry about it. in a few days, that skin will be shed (just like everyone else, this is normal, we just never notice it) and the nail polish will go with it.
if you need it off *now*, then try a different nail polish remover, maybe one without acetone would work? you could try scratching it off gently, but that might cause some discomfort as well.
for now, it probably will be ok
Sometimes baby oil can work if you rub it quite firmly.

How do you get nail polish out out a bed comforter?
I have tried non-acetone nail polish remover without any luck. How do you get nail polish out out a bed comforter?
try toothpaste and warm milk with a rough brush. No joke it should work.
Interesting items at Groovy Grabs:
http://giftomarket.weblodge.net/How do you get nail polish out out a bed comforter?
Try the acetone polish remover. Use a cotton swab and try not to smear it any further. Afterwards hand wash the area with mild soap and water to remove the acetone!
Its probably not going to come out. You may try ';Hints from Heloise'; go to www.goodhousekeeping.com. Also if you cant get it out go to walmart and put some cute decals on to match ur room and cover it up.
Ask it nicely to leave or pretend that your big burly partner will be home soon and will not be happy to find it there. (Make sure you tell it you will call it tomorrow though - this should soften the blow).
This method should work for most fabrics: After testing for colorfastness on a hidden spot, sponge over the stain with pure acetone, available at beauty-supply shops and drugstores. Then launder the shirt as you normally would. Never use acetone on fabrics that contain triacetate or acetate (check care labels), because it can dissolve the cloth. For those, use amyl acetate, available at drugstores.

What is a crazy nail polish color i can use?
I like wacky crazy nail polish colors and was wondering what you think the best color would be. 10 points to best answer! What is a crazy nail polish color i can use?
I don't think there's such thing as crazy nail colors, only ones that stand out!
I love wearing them!
Bright orange, lime green, silver, aqua, yellow, bright purple, cherry red, I'd say hot or neon pink, but I think people wore it out, especially with the fake nails...
You can try PAINTING your own patterns too instead of buying the fake nails!
That's what I've done!
Zebra print, polka dots, plaid (hard!), stripes, flowers, stars, peace signs, or just rainbow colors.

How do u make nail polish of all diffrent colors?
I think it would be so cool to make nail polish! How do you?How do u make nail polish of all diffrent colors?
buy pigments and clear nailpolish.... you can mix together your own colors that way.. its what i did when i wanted rainbow nails lolHow do u make nail polish of all diffrent colors?
I've never heard of anyone doing this and it's so cheap that you can probably by it for cheaper than it would cost for the materials to make it.
Sinful Colors is a decent cheap brand with a wide variety of colors. At Walgreens, they're $1 each.
i dont think you can tbh lol

How does a ';Nail buffer'; work ? I mean, does it put a waterproof layer on the nail, just like nail polish?
How does the nail get the shine from the buffer? Is there a coat of paint like transparent nail color? How does a ';Nail buffer'; work ? I mean, does it put a waterproof layer on the nail, just like nail polish?
A nail buffer is like fine sand paper . you rub it on your nails and it gets rid of all the ridges . most buffers have four sides. the first side of the block is to shape your nail basicly a nail file. the second side is to get rid of the ridges on your nail , you rub this side on your nails until the ridges have gone , the third side smooths your nails , it gets rid of all the scratches and becomes very smoorth and the last side is lyk a rubbery side that pollishes your nails and you get really shiny results . with a good block buffer your nail look as if you have used a clear shiny top coat when you havent .However on of the downsides is that this doesnt usually last very lond because your nails get scratched very quickly and they become more rough and lose the shine. this also takes a long tym to do. hope i helped!!How does a ';Nail buffer'; work ? I mean, does it put a waterproof layer on the nail, just like nail polish?
well, the first side smooths out the ridges on your nail. The second side massages your nails, which improves blood circulation. This helps make nails grow faster, and makes them stronger and healthier. The third side is made of a material that polishes the nails and makes them shinier. It usually doesn't have any formula on it, though.
no paint, it is as the other posts said hence ';buffing'; it is polising the nail.
A nail buffer removes a layer of the nail because it's like really fine sandpaper.

If your nails keep growing but you put nail polish on, then do you have to keep reappling polish?
Like after 2 days, the nails start to grow and then the bottom of your nail has no polish and it looks weird. So it's not like I can take the time to remove all the polish and reapply it every 2 days so waht do i do?If your nails keep growing but you put nail polish on, then do you have to keep reappling polish?

How do you paint polka dots on your nails using nail polish, without it looking bad?How do you paint polka dots on your nails using nail polish?
I would put on the base, let it dry, then use a toothpick to make the polka dots. Don't put on so much on the toothpick that it will drip, but enough to make a mark. How do you paint polka dots on your nails using nail polish?
Yes you use nail polish to paint your nails it's that you use a skinny brush to paint. And Hi!
Use the nail brush then just lightly dot your nail with the tips of the brush. Thats way I do polka dots and it looks good.
use a toothpick dipped in your choice of polish
use a tooth pick
let the top layer dry 1st then get an extra small brush and paint the polka dots
don't know
use a tooth pick
take the cotton of the end of a q tip and dip it into the nail polish for a round dot!
i think a toothpick would work best if the nail polish is thick enough.
its what i use when i paint small dots.
just make dots witht he brush...
Dip a toothpick into the nail polish and dot it on
I did something wierd but it worked i diped a toothpick into my nail polish then onto my nails....
use a a tooth pick or a thin thin brush,i even made a flower on my nail!
I do the same thing princessgurl does.
i would wait until the nail polish dries, get a toothpick, dip it in the favoured nail polish, and gently dot the nail
it would be REALLY hard
go 2 a salon
hey the way i did it was to make sure that I had has a little nail polish has i can on the brush and just dot it on my nail. it seems to work

What would happen if I put a small container of nail polish remover in the microwave to warm a little?
Warm nail polish remover soaks the polish off better. Will it explode or something? What would happen if I put a small container of nail polish remover in the microwave to warm a little?
i think it says keep a way from heat im not sure on this but i wouldn't do itWhat would happen if I put a small container of nail polish remover in the microwave to warm a little?
Well if it's made of glass it shouldn't be a problem, but if there's any metal in the container or nailpolish itself you shouldn't do it. (At least, scientifically speaking. I obviously don't use nail polish so I'm guessing.)
Couldn't you just run it under hot water or something?
First experiment with a Pet.....!!
I don't know, but could be a little dangerous trying it.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Modeling Potential?!
Best bet put warm water in a cup/mug and add the container into it to warm it more safer
You can't be serious.
';Clever Nickname'; above me has it right--running it under hot water would be safer.
Nail polish remover has acetone in it--which is flammable. It burns. It would likely be worse than a pop-tart in the microwave, in terms of bursting into flames. It might not last three seconds, depending on the bottle it's in.
Hot water would be *much safer*. Don't use the microwave for this.
it says keep away from heat so i think it would catch on fire or explode or something.

You can get nail polish anywhere. CVS, Wallgreens, Walmart, Target..anywhere
Look in your phonebook or yellowpages.com and search nail salons. Find a local one like in a strip center or whatever. It usually costs me around 12 dollars. What are some cool/cheap places i could get nail polish/or get my nails done for cheap with tips?
There's nail shops like on every other corner where I live. Look for local ones on the block not ones in malls because they usually have cheaper prices. Target has good nail polishes that aren't expensive.

TurquoiseWhat color of nail polish should I wear to an 80's party?
Duh! It's the 80s. No way you should stick with just one color. Also, if you could add stripes or polka dots to several nails, that would be the ultimate!
Anything fluorescent or neon. Don't foeget the aquanet for your hair.
I was a child of the 80's and what i remember is all the blue nail polish. I'd go with that color
well what colors do you have?
i think that you should use light green.
Fluorescent pink or green will be perfect .
Pink was really big then! (Not that it is not now)
hot pink!!

What are the metal balls in nail polish for?
I'm doing my nails and just realized that ';tink tink'; sound when i gently shake my nail polish.
What are those metal things for? What are the metal balls in nail polish for?
Most nail polishes will settle a bit when they sit, especially metalics and frosts. The metal balls mix the ingredients up so that the fine metallic glitter is evenly distributed on your nails.
By the way, don't shake nail polish, it will introduce little bubbles that will make your nails look bumpy. Instead, gently roll the bottle between your palms to mix it up, then let it sit for about a minute before using. What are the metal balls in nail polish for?
just to shake up the polish before you use it.
it helps to shake it up well
The little metal balls just help mix the finger nail polish up when you shake it.

What is the best chip resistant nail polish?
I'm a mother of 3 and I change diapers, wash dishes, scrub the floor and all kinds of other crap. I get so frustrated with nail polish that chips right off. What are some really good brands? What is the best chip resistant nail polish?
Brands that you can purchase from nail salons and spas (such as OPI, Essie, etc.) are going to last much longer than regular department store brands (such as Maybelline, Sally Hansen, etc.). But there are a couple of things you can do (regardless of polish brand you use) to prevent chipping. If you first apply a ridge-filler polish before the color, it will help extremely, because filling in the ridges of the nail will give the nail a smooth surface and make the polish more resistant to chipping. Ridge-filler is basically a basecoat, but much better in my opinion. Another thing you can do is to apply a topcoat on top of the color, and most topcoats are just fine but I personally prefer to use one that also helps my polish dry quickly; it sounds like with your lifestyle you would also appreciate something like that. Sally Hansen makes a pretty good one. You apply it like a minute or two after you apply your polish, and it dries it in a minute or so.
The following two products I personally use. The first is a ridge-filler, the second is not a topcoat but an ';oil'; that dries your polish almost instantly (seriously), and prevents smudges.

How do you get Nail polish off, if you don't have any nail polish remover?
Is there any mixture off anything you can make to get the polish off your nails? Please help me!!! Thanks in advance. How do you get Nail polish off, if you don't have any nail polish remover?
you put another lyaer on then remove it quickly u dont need a mixture or anything. if taht doesn work u can use rubbing alcohol or alcohol padsHow do you get Nail polish off, if you don't have any nail polish remover?
Well, i would definetly NOT put more on! Use rubbing alchohol or alcohol pads.
Sometimes you can chip it off depending on the nail polish. It takes awhile but I have had to do it before.Just take a nail and start near the cuticle and keep scratching it away.
I agree with the first comment. Brush a little more on, and then quickly wipe it off.

I accidentally spilled nail polish remover, acetone, on wood table how can I remove stains in the wood finish?
I accidentally spilled nail polish remover, acetone, on the wood dinner table how can I remove the stains in the wood finish?I accidentally spilled nail polish remover, acetone, on wood table how can I remove stains in the wood finish?
What you are seeing is not a stain. Acetone will dissolve most finishes other than polyurethane. You need to refinish the table top. Take the old finish off with Citristrip, it is much less obnoxious than MEK. Smooth the surface with a grey abrasive pad you can get at the home center. Don't sand the surface as you will remove the patina and the top will look different than the rest of the table. Now comes the hard part. You need to find a finish that matches the apron and legs of the table or you will have to refinish them too. If it was clear, not problem.I accidentally spilled nail polish remover, acetone, on wood table how can I remove stains in the wood finish?
Sorry weendy, sally is right
The acetone has actually eaten away at the finish, not just stained it. Same as if you spilled it on your polished fingernails.
You can try using some super fine steel wool (0000 or finer) to smooth out the mark. You will probably have to sand and refinish the top, tho.

Why can I never keep nail polish on my nails for more than 2 days?
I put base coat and top coat, but it always seems to chip or begin to peel after a day or two. Any idea why/ suggestions on how to keep it on for longer? THANKS!Why can I never keep nail polish on my nails for more than 2 days?
Tip #1: Make sure nails are super clean Natural oils on your nails aid in chipping. Even if your nails are polish-free, apply polish remover to get rid of oils on the surface of nails.
Tip #2: Prep nails with a base coat Polish will adhere best to nails prepped with a base coat like Opi Nail Treatment Start to Finish. Here's a list of great base polishes at every price:
Tip #3: Don't lay on the polish too thick Three to four thin coats of polish rather than 2 thick coats will last longer, cut down on drying time and cause fewer changes of bubbles brewing on your nails.
Tip #4: Don't forget the tip When polishing, polish the tip of the nail as well. This helps cut down on nail polish chipping.
Tip #5: Consider a shimmery color. The little particles of sparkle will help polish cling to your nails.
Tip #6: Apply a clear topcoat Topcoat helps extend the life of your manicure. You can use the base coat as a topcoat. Do brush topcoat on and around the edges of nails as well, it's an extra seal against chipping.
Tip #7: Allow proper drying time Make sure you give your nails a good 45 minutes drying time before handling objects. Once dry time is over, submerge nails in cold water then apply lotion. This allows for a slippery surface until nails are completely dry. For pedicures, wrap toes in plastic wrap if you're wearing shoes other than flip-flops or sandals.
Tip #8: Keep topcoat handy To prolong the life of your manicure, apply a topcoat every other day.Why can I never keep nail polish on my nails for more than 2 days?
Your usuing a cheap brand of nail polish, or your just not taking good care of your nails.
I would recomend any sally henson nail product, there amazing.
That happens to me too. I always have bottle of nail polish with me for emergencys.

What is the skeletal structure of nail polish?
In school I'm doing a project in which the skeletal structure of nail polish needs to be found to determine whether it is polar or nonpolar. By skeletal structure I mean the elements in it and how they are bonded. Thanks, and please answer if you know it!What is the skeletal structure of nail polish?
Definitely non-polar reagents, can't draw or illustrate the coloring agent because it's very complicated. But the solvent is mostly Ethyl Acetate or Butyl Acetate.
Ethyl Acetate: CH3-COO-CH2CH3
Butyl Acetate: CH3-COO-CH2CH2CH3
Quote from Wikipedia.org:
';Most nail polishes are made of nitrocellulose dissolved in a solvent (e.g. butyl acetate or ethyl acetate) and either left clear or colored with various pigments. Basic components included are: film forming agents, resins and plasticizers, solvents, and coloring agents. Adhesive polymers (e.g. tosylamide-formaldehyde resin) ensure the nitrocellulose adheres to the nail's surface. Plasticizers (e.g. camphor) are chemicals that link between polymer chains, spacing them to make the film sufficiently flexible after drying. Pigments and sparkling particles (e.g. mica) add desired color and reflecting characteristics. Thickening agents (e.g. stearalkonium hectorite) are added to maintain the sparkling particles in suspension while in the bottle. Ultraviolet stabilizers (e.g. benozophenone-1) resist color changes when the dry film is exposed to direct sunlight.';

I accidentally got nail polish on my top, is there any way of removing it?
i've tried putting nail polish remover on it and it just smudged =[
the nail polish is bright blue as well.I accidentally got nail polish on my top, is there any way of removing it?
I have had sucess with acetone on dried nail polish on clothes. You do have to keep working it and dabbing it off with a terry cloth towel one you can use for just cleaning afterwards. Just keep working it and it does work. After, then put soap on it and hand wash the spot in warm water, then wash it normally.I accidentally got nail polish on my top, is there any way of removing it?
If you doused it then it would, pour it on the spot, then wait a few seconds, try dabbing it off , then rinse it, use a mild liquid soap, gently rub it in until its clear and rinse again. GL also, try Meleuca. Then spelling is off but it will lead you to the right manufacture if you try it on google or an other search engine.
Acetone is stronger than nail-polish remover.
Put a pad of kitchen roll under the stain and using a cotton ball soak the stain and keep working it in.
When it has dissolved the varnish, put it straight in the wash
defo dont use nail polish remover try getting a a sponge boiling water with some soap powder scrub it hard then put straight in wash
sandpaper
no hope here....i've done that too. even on carpet and it just doesn't come off at all.

Does anyone know how to get nail polish out of flannel pants and a bed sheet?
We had heard to rub it with nail polish remover and a rag and tried it but it doesn't work. Its been in the fabrics for about 2 weeks and we can't get it out. Really need to get these out! Help please!Does anyone know how to get nail polish out of flannel pants and a bed sheet?
Try Acetone from the hardware store -- it is basically the same solution as nail polish remover, only in a stronger form.
First, soak the stain in a glass bowl of acetone (metal might react, plastic might melt) for a few minutes, and then discard the soaking acetone. Then stretch the stained cloth over the glass bowl and make sure the stained side is down, then pour acetone through the stain to flush it out. Repeat with fresh acetone until stain is removed. Then wash the item normally and air dry. Check for acetone smell and rewash if needed. Air dry until you are sure the acetone is out, as it is VERY flammable. Use caution and keep the kids away from this project.Does anyone know how to get nail polish out of flannel pants and a bed sheet?
You are out of luck. I have had that happen and never could get it out. Sorry.
try taking it to your local dry cleaner and they may be able to help.
You may be too late since you've already used nail polish remover on it; but take them to the dry cleaners. I once dropped Liquid Paper into the lap of periwinkle blue poly/cotton trousers. I took them directly to the cleaners and they got it out. Be sure you point out every spot to them.
you can use fingernail polish remover. It will take it out....
i spilled nail polish on the carpet, and went to nail manicurist, and shes said sol!!! she said nail polish remover will make it spread, like a bad stain. sorry. the best you can do, is wait for it to dry
and then scrape it off.
hope this helps

Why do I have to remove nail polish for wisdom teeth procedure?
I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed and for some reason I had to remove my dark nail polish. Why would nail polish- dark or light- affect this procedure? Why do I have to remove nail polish for wisdom teeth procedure?
If you are having general anesthesia for the procedure, your vital signs will be closely monitored. Although a machine will watch your pulse and oxygen levels, a visual look at your finger nails will tell if your body is getting enough oxygen. Dark nail polish will hide these important signs.
It would be the same if you were undergoing any other surgical procedure.
What's the big deal? Put it back on when everything is over. Why do I have to remove nail polish for wisdom teeth procedure?
I never heard of that before. But I do know that if you're polish is dark then you're oxygen level may be hard to monitor. If you're having them removed surgically they may want to monitor your oxygen with a finger thingy.
hmm i dont know. i never had to for my wisdom teeth extraction.

OPI is only good for a few weeks, then it gets yucky and doesn't go on smoothly even if you add a bit of remover to the bottle. I like China glaze alot too. drugstore, i like sally hansen but the collection hardly ever has pretty colorsWhat is your favorite brand of nail polish?
try essie or chanel. the are great.
rimmel london!
NYC makes a good range of polishes that are free of formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene. Your polish won't last forever, no matter what brand, so I don't bother with expensive stuff. Plus you won't feel like you've wasted your money on a colour that turned out wrong because it's so inexpensive.
i like sally hanson. personally, i hate OPI. wet %26amp; wild is good too.
N.Y.C I love! try it, you won;t be sorry. HTey have a lot of options too!
NYC... seriously. and the plus side? Two bucks a pop :)
Of drugstore brands, I like Sally Hansen
and Revlon the best. I actually haven't really
tried any salon or quality nail polishes.
Even OPI, because I mostly use my mum's
nail polish.
I hate opi! i also prefer the old drug store brands
China Glaze???? Not to be an azz but that stuff is horrible. OPI is much better. You can also try Christian Dior. It is very good also.

How can I transport about 20 nail polish bottles and about 15 souvenir match books across country?
I'm moving across country and the moving company states that they won't transport fingernail polish or matches. Are there restrictions with sending them by mail? How can I make sure they're safe when I transport them? I'm going to be flying by plane and I don't think I'm able to take these things along with me. The match books are collected from all over the world and I don't want to give them up. I don't want to part with my nail polish collection. How can I transport about 20 nail polish bottles and about 15 souvenir match books across country?
The matches can be placed in matchbook collection binder pages obtained from a hobby store and then packed in bubble wrap and shipped in a freight box labeled Educational materials; and should have no problem. 15 matchbooks weigh almost nothing and will be undetectable and will not ignite through friction because they are separated by soft plastic in the binder pages.
I would roll the bottles in bubble wrap and put into zip freezer bags and ship in a box packed with bubble wrap. They are also probably undetectable. Mark them collectibles-Fragile.
I tend to take those little chances and hope for the best.
It is when people try to ship large quantities to get rich that they run into problems. How can I transport about 20 nail polish bottles and about 15 souvenir match books across country?
The nail polish you may take on the plane. You will need to go to the post office and ask about mailing the match books, as the website does not address this.

How much would it cost for nail polish?
I don't want a manicure and i want to do my nails by myself. How much would it cost for 6 different colors,Overcoat thing, and other stuff for a normal nail polish do-over. Im not an expert and I don't know what i need. I know that you need nail polish, but what about things to remove nailpolish and stuff like that? And what would be the cost for those things? How much would it cost for nail polish?
girl i do my nails every week and have been since last year. im a pro. your gonna need nail polish remover (helps soften the skin around your nails), nail polish and the clear shiney coat that goes on top. i usually use a razor to scrap off cuticles (sp?). you dont have too though. the cost is gonna depend on what brands you buy. if you buy less known brands it wont cost more then like $10-15. brands like revlon may cost a little more, but are worth it. you might want to keep come q tips handy to wipe up any nail polish that you get on the skin around your fingers with out smearing your nail. dont go out and buy the cheapest stuff you can get cause those are usuallly really sucky, like the color doesnt show up, its thin like water, peels off easy, and is hard to get on nice. How much would it cost for nail polish?
$10.00 - $30.00eye mascara

How do I get red finger nail polish out of a light colored carpet?
The stain has been there for a few weeks (dried) as I ave been looking for the answer, but I did not do anything with it for fear of setting the stain in.How do I get red finger nail polish out of a light colored carpet?
I have two kids and they love to get into my nail polish, the best thing that I have used is called oops or goof off. those two products get out a lot of stains. I hope that works for you.How do I get red finger nail polish out of a light colored carpet?
I've spilled yellow pink nail polish on my carpet and even had red paint spilled and the best product I have found is oxy-clean. It gets the stain right out all the time. I swear by this product and recommend it to everyone. It hasn't let me down yet so every thing's good.
so sorry there is no getting nail polish out. try a fabric dye to cover it.
Non-acetone, Nail polish remover with no color. Next, take a white cloth or paper towel and dip in the remover. Test on a hidden part of the carpet by blotting on the carpet. If color transfers to the cloth or the fabric 'melts', contact a carpet care professional. If your carpet is color safe, apply the remover to a white cloth and blot (do not rub) the stained area. This may take some time. Just keep blotting until the stain is gone. If the stain remains, make a solution of 1 teaspoon of dish washing liquild and 1 quart of warm water. Apply with enough of the solution to cover the stain and let soak for 5 minutes. Blot the excess moisture and rinse with warm water. Blot thoroughly with a clean cloth. If the stain reappears after drying, repeat.
Actually I think what rain angel means is Goo Gone. Which we use on a daily basis at the hotel i work at. It gets out all types of things. I am going to give you a link to it. I hope it helps you.

How do dark nail polish colors look against pale skin?
I have very fair skin, but I love Chanel's Black Satin, Vamp, and Blue Satin. They're all very dark colors. How do dark colors look against pale skin? How do dark nail polish colors look against pale skin?
i think it looks good
dramatic :)How do dark nail polish colors look against pale skin?
Hott! ima pale red head, and i love how it looks on me ~-^
It makes you look paler. Don't wear it if you want to look tanner.
They can be striking, but if you're not careful they look sickly and scary. Black nail polish is out for this season, though, so you should not be wearing it. Navy blue is the new color for spring, and as long as you buy a polish that definitely looks blue and is not blue-black, you will look really nice in it. If you're still worried about the color, put it on your toes instead.
because the dark colors contrast the light skin and make them pop and look really pretty.
my friend has really pale skin and she wears this dark red color on her nails and it looks so pretty
In my opinion, a little harsh. It kinda reminds me of very pale skinned people with dark, dark makeup. But if you like it, you should go for it.
i think dark nail polish agaist pale skin looks very good. a lot of celebrities pull it off such as lindsay lohan. i actually think it looks better on fair skinned people.
i think it looks fine...
I am really white and i always wear black nail polish.
i would stick to bright colors that really pop such as cherry red, and magenta...or deep colors like a plum
it looks really good on the nails :]]
also try a dark red, that looks awesome.
actually they stand out more. and make it more attractive. u could always use a coat of glitter on them too.
not that great
i like it, but some ppl think its too much..try like pinks, peaches etc
I personally have pretty light skin, and I wear Vamp all the time. It's my favorite of all the Chanel nail polishes. I haven't tried blue satin yet, but it should look really pretty.
However, I did buy Black Satin only to realize it was a little harsh for me, so I would forget about that one. Plus, it was trendy when it first came out but no one really wears it anymore.

What color dog nail polish would look good on a boy dog?
I am gettin my little poms nails done today and was wondering what color is good on boys. What color dog nail polish would look good on a boy dog?
Why on earth would you want to do such a thing, it's a dog!
Leave the poor thing alone. What color dog nail polish would look good on a boy dog?
I would to red, blue or orange.
We painted a black pug's (male too) nails red at the grooming place I interned out. He looked classy.
If your pom is buff/tan colored, I would go more for the red or the blue, if he is black, any color will do. If he's white, same thing.
I am going to overlook the fact that you are painting the fingernails of a mail dog. Whatever. In any event, doesn't that sort of depend on the dog's fur or what he looks like?
The same color that is good on girls.
Dogs don't care. They are dogs and can't even see most colors.
Why????? just so you can waste money? I have a male poodle mix and I would never make him look like a girl like that.
Dogs don't like nail polish, and male dogs hate nail polish. So the answer is NONE!
you should paint it blue or pink that's my dogs when he gets a pedicure
