Gel nails can handle just about anything. Just be careful if the polish has glitter- this sticks and is really difficult to get off. Just don't remove the polish with acetone remover. This will eat away at them.What type of nail polish should I not use on Gel Nails?
I had these for a while last year and I used a lot of different brands and nothing happened to them. Just to warn you, when you take them off your natural nails will look hideous for a few months afterward.

Does nail polish and nail polish remover dry your nails out?
Think ive damaged mine through wearing too much polish/leaving polish on for too long.
Nail is yellow. If i use nail polish remover on it to try and 'whiten' it will it make it worse? What can i use to help my nails recover?Does nail polish and nail polish remover dry your nails out?
Yes. Both dry out natural nails.
The yellow is just a stain from wearing a dark colored polish. It's not actual damage and it's not a big deal. It just looks odd.
Nail polish remover will not remove the yellow %26amp; a buffer is good but it's a challenge to get good results all along where the skin meets the nail.
Ajax or comet powder massaged gently into the nails will whiten them again. Depending upon how badly they are stained, lemon juice might suit just as well and is a little bit more gentle.

The active and flammable ingredient in most of these is Acetone. If it is really soaking wet with it, hang it outside to dry before popping in the washing machine. I want it to be super-bright, and orange to be the dominant color, but still somewhat pink. I don't want any sheerness at all, and I'd prefer it to be available at target. If you could give me the name of the brand and the name of the color that'd be great!
